Nakia is the founder and CEO of Sovereignty Entertainment Inc., executive producer and writer with a focus on developing and producing family shows and films. For well over a two decades, Nakia has worked on a variety of television shows, movies, and commercials as talent and producer. Some of her credits include The Mindy Project, Murder in the First, Angie Tribeca, Hart of Dixie (recurring), New Girl, About a Boy, The Perfect Boyfriend, 90210, The Middle, Rules Of Engagement, Melissa and Joey, Bones, Samantha Who, Boston Legal, Nash Bridges, Moesha, A Day in the Life, Crazy Daze, Power Rangers, and (current series in production) Class Dismissed.
CATHERINE SUTHERLAND - PRODUCER
Australian born actress Catherine Sutherland, is best known for playing Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the Pink Ranger in the legendary hit kids show, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She continued her role for three seasons in Power Ranger Zeo, Power Ranger Turbo, and Power Ranger Turbo the Movie. With over 100 episodes filmed in the series. After Power Rangers she went on to perform in the film,The Cell starring Jennifer Lopez, and various commercials.
You may recognize her voice on one of your children's toys, video games or see her appear in a commercial from time to time. Although, she is rarely in front of the camera these days, Catherine is focusing her creative energy on writing. She recently published her first children book titled The Boy with the heart on his sleeve.
NICHOLAS GAVINO- PRODUCTION
Nicholas Gavino serves as the Chief Finance Officer for Sovereignty Entertainment Inc. He attended Middlesex Junior College and CRT Graphic Design School. He has over 15 years experience in the entertainment field. Nicholas began his journey on the set of Power Rangers in 1998. He later began working at the Culver Studios Scene dock, where he constructed wall sets, props, and flooring for motion picture and television. In 2004, Nicholas Gavino became the owner of Sets to Go set company (originally founded by Nicholas and a friend). Set to Go LLC has been successfully operating for over 10 years and continues to have commited customers, wonderful product, and creative style.
Nicholas, supervises the construction of sets, props, and flooring. He is the forecaster for all estimates, budgets, supplies, equipment, salaries, and all financial obligations for Sets To Go LLC.
